By default, M10 - or any tablet for that matter equipped with the Ubuntu OS - will run in the touch mode. But flick a switch, and it will change into a familiar desktop mode. The menu will be in top-left corner rather than the bottom, and the applications will have windows and borders and buttons. Just as you would expect.
